Dr. Korovilas completed his undergraduated studies in three years from the Loyola University. He then went on to graduate from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1994. From there, he completed a one year residency at Cook County Hospital (now named Stroger Hospital) where he was trained to deal with emergencies as well as complicated cases.
Dr. Korovilas is a strong believer in continuing education. After his residency program, Dr. Korovilas entered a two year program to train on orthodontics (braces). Once that program was completed, Dr. Korovilas began and completed a one year program to train in placing and restoring dental implants.
Dr. Korovilas understands how many patients seeking dental care have a fear of going to the dentist. He and his staff explain every procedure as well as how their insurance works so there are no surprises.
